Maybe it was just his favourite hat. Maybe it was a symbol. The feather and ornament add to the flair.
The hat with the turned up sides and back appears to be some sort of regalia.
A close up of the ornament reveals a lot of detail and shows similarities to Egyptian ornaments.
Straight lines in rugged and remote areas have me questioning all of this.
On close inspection there are walls, dams, bridges and settlements all throughout this area.
There is just too much to comprehend.
There looks to be a helipad for a helicopter designated near most of these 'towns'.
Were they explored or have they been erased?
Throughout the band on the hat there is an incredible amount of infrastructure.
A close up of the ornament reveals a lot of detail and shows similarities to Egyptian ornaments.
Some of these lines are just too straight for modern humans to have built.
The infrastructure in this area is incredible and most of it looks to have been mechanically destroyed. There are scars everywhere.
Why is this infrastructure all throughout this area? What has happened here?
The hat is an amazing section of this image. There are obvious signs of military bases and training within this sector. I've taken a number a screen shots of activities involving tanks and other military equipment out in the desert - not to be shown here just in case. The human activities don't seem to be as refined or as precise as some of the structures that look much older.
Current military activity can be found on Google Earth however won't be detailed here. Around a lot of the older structures there are helipads and access roads that show that people have definitely visited the area and have perhaps even been involved in the 'erasing' of the structures that were there originally.
Speaking of erasure I would be remiss in noting that the entire desert looks as though it has been subject to some massive flooding in the past. If you look closely at the flow patterns in the sand you can see that there has been some event that has completely covered the desert in water at some time in the past.
Why not? I'm not a hat person myself but this may have been a part of the image that spoke volumes in the past. We see this reflected today in hats worn as uniform or as fashion items. Each one has its place.
Throughout the area there can be found roads with what looks to be mines and similar activities perform by modern humans. Other roads can also be found that defy explanation as humans prefer to take the easier route vs doing anything to be sure that a line is perfectly straight over a long distance. I find it hard to believe that modern humans are responsible for some of the work that can be found in this area.
