Using Google Earth I have discovered a site that is more than 10,000 square miles in size that represents a face on the West of the continent of Africa.
The face in the desert.
This site is dedicated to this discovery in the hopes that people will appreciate the fact that Face Pareidolia does not count here.
Face Pareidolia is the human condition to see a face where a face shouldn't be - like seeing a shape in a cloud formation or car designers creating faces on the front of an automobile using the headlights as eyes.
In this case the eye is what is known as 'the Eye of the Sahara' or the Richat Structure. The position and composition is all too perfect for this to be just an 'accident' or a coincidence.
Supposedly a geographical formation, the Richat Structure shows up as concentric circles that are some 28 miles in diameter - the size of a city.
